Tubes from polyethylene

Tubes made from polyethylene serve in the transport of liquid, gaseous, and powdery media or as protection for instance to snow chains.
Polyethylene is a thermoplastic material which is wax like in character. Polyethylene is divided based on density into two main types, the so called low density (LDPE) and high density (HDPE). As density rises, transparency decreases and hardness, stiffness, strength in tension, shape stability when heated and chemical resistance rise. A milky turbidity is characteristic in polyethelene, it can be coloured into coloured shades.
