Protective pipes

Protective pipes are used in the car and electro-technical industries to protect against mechanical damage to isolated conductors, for their colour differentiation, to protect cables, connecting rods and chains.
The pipes are unreinforced – without reinforcement.
Their density varies between 1,2-1,34 g/cm³ and is dependent on the ratio of components used when creating the recipe. The physical characteristics are dependent on level of softening. In general, it can be said, that when softened most of the chemical and physical values decrease, when compared with unsoftened materials.

The characteristics can be modified within these limits:
Hardness: 50 ShA – 52 ShD
Limiting strength in tension: 100 – 200 kp/cm²
Ductility: 150 – 350 %
